CEO perspective

HORISEN is officially in its 25th year – a milestone that represents far more than time.
It represents the people who shaped the journey, grew with the company, and continue to move it forward every day.

That is why we gathered together last month – to celebrate the colleagues who have spent 25 and 20 years growing alongside HORISEN, while also honoring everyone who has been part of this story for 15, 10, or 5 years.

And of course, those who joined more recently and are only beginning to write their chapter of the HORISEN journey.

What 25 Years Really Means

Looking around the room that evening, I realized once again that the true value of a company is never measured only by products, growth, or business achievements. I did not just see colleagues, teams, departments, or job titles. I saw years of shared experiences, challenges, successes, difficult moments, growth, trust, and loyalty.

And that, to me, is what 25 years truly means.

Of course, I am proud of what HORISEN has become today. From a small beginning to a global messaging technology company working with customers and partners around the world. Proud of our products, our innovation, our growth, and the incredible expertise we have built over the years.

But companies do not grow on their own.

People build companies.

Especially in an industry like ours – fast-moving, demanding, highly competitive, and constantly changing – it is rare to see people stay together for decades. Today, fluctuation is considered normal. Changing companies every few years is expected. That is why celebrating colleagues who have spent 25 years, 20 years, 15 years, 10 years, or even 5 years with us carries such deep meaning.

It means that somewhere along the way, we managed to create more than just a workplace.

We created a place where people wanted to stay.

Not because everything was always easy – it definitely was not. Building technology companies comes with pressure, long nights, uncertainty, difficult decisions, and constant adaptation. Over the last quarter of the century, we experienced both incredible highs and very challenging periods.

But through all of that, people stayed beside each other.

That loyalty is something I never take for granted.

During the celebration, we honored colleagues who have been part of HORISEN almost from the very beginning. People who helped shape not only our technology and products, but also the culture, spirit, and foundation of this company. Listening to their stories reminded me how much of HORISEN’s history lives inside the people themselves.

At the same time, this celebration was also a reminder of everyone who has been part of this journey over the years – those who have been with us for 15, 10, or 5 years, as well as those who joined recently and are only beginning their story with HORISEN.

Because every person who becomes part of HORISEN contributes to what this company is today and what it will become tomorrow.

One of the things that makes me happiest is not only seeing people grow professionally, but also personally. Over the years, we watched young developers become leaders, colleagues become mentors, teams become friends, and in many ways, HORISEN became part of people’s life stories.

That is something no business metric can truly measure.

As a founder, moments like these make you realize that the real success of a company is not only revenue, growth, or technology.

It is the trust people place in you over time.

And for that, I feel immense gratitude.

To everyone who has been part of this journey – thank you.

Thank you for your work.
Thank you for your loyalty.
Thank you for your trust.

And a special thank you to our colleagues who chose to stay and grow together with HORISEN for 25 and 20 years. In an industry where change has become the norm, that kind of loyalty carries a truly special meaning.

Thank you for helping build not only a company, but a community of people who continue growing together.

After 25 years, I can honestly say:
the greatest achievement of HORISEN is not what we built.

It is who built it together.
