YOUR PROFILE

Working in this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of our Linux servers, setting up and maintaining infrastructure and networks, documenting procedures, and troubleshooting issues to seamlessly support HORISEN’s operations.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering related field
  • High-level documentation writing skills
  • Excellent English skills – both written and verbal
  • Experience with Linux systems administration
  • Experience with Virtualization management (Proxmox, VMWare)
  • Background in Linux and Windows OS endpoint troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of operating system security principles including patch management and system hardening
  • Skills in Bash or Python scripting
  • Experience with VPN setup and troubleshooting
  • Competence with Infrastructure Orchestration tools (preferably Terraform)

Considered a plus

  • Experience with monitoring/alerting solutions (Grafana, Icinga etc.)
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
  • Background in Configuration management tools (preferably Ansible)
  • Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of MySQL, Mongo and Redis DBs
  • Competence with Jira, Confluence
